 Here is my slides of my project. While I was writing this I learn't that it important to try different things and travel somewhere different then just going to the same place every time.

We have been doing some art. We had to use hot and cold colours and hot colours. If you use cold colours on apart of the Jandals

Swimming.

This term GTS has gone swimming and each class has a block of swimming. The first thing we did was swim back and forward through out he pool. Then we had free time. It was really hard to see under the water.  it was so quiet under water.

Israel.

 Room 7 has been learning about different countries. The countries i studied was Israel.

My Student Voice.

When I  started school i felt a bit nervous because I didn’t really know that much people and all the people i knew were in a different class than me except Harry. A few weeks later I made some friends. Jayde, Vaiola, Lily and Maletina. After a week the class did a math test. When we finished I was on stage 6. Then we did a reading test and I was on level 9 to 10. Now at the end of the year I am on early stage 7 on maths and on reading now i am on 10 to 11. Lastly on writing i am on 4-B.

Tamaki Athletics.

On Tuesday 28th November the people from athletics day that came 1st and 2nd went to the Lloyd  Elsmore to run and compete with other schools. When it was our turn to run Vaiola and I ran 50m and I came 3rd in the race and Vaiola in her race she came 2nd. Even though we didn't come 1st we still had so much fun. Vaiola was in the relay and GTS came 4th in the relays.

Respecting dogs.

Respecting Dogs by Room 5 @ Glenbrae School

My comment is a quality comment because I started with a greeting and I complemented the movie. I also said what I liked that they did throughout the movie.

Athletics day.

Yesterday was athletics day and it was so much fun. We did Zumba, running races and fun activities. My favourite activity was the water activity. I liked that activity because it was fun and a bit challenging.

Our Trip To Rangitoto Island.

Year 3 and 4 went on a trip to Rangitoto. It was a really fun trip. The people in my group was Vaiola, Savannah and our helpers were Stephanie and Carrie. They helped us on the way up the mountain and down the mountain. We found lot's of birds and we took about an hour to get up the mountain. we went to the lava caves and we saw a lot of fascinating lava rocks. There were ones that were still hot because of the sun.

Our rats.

This is my rat. We made it with room 6. It was fun to make. We used paper mache and we painted it to look like a real rat.

The man under the bridge.

Room 7 is doing a descriptive writing about a Man under the bridge. We had to use descriptive words to make the story more interesting.

Narrative Writing

R7 students sat quietly, waiting for their teacher to return to the classroom after playtime.

When Mr Victor said “You guys can come inside now.” When we were finishing our work we heard students yelling outside. Jayde went outside to see

what the fuss was about. She felt cold when she saw the wind blew roughly across the flowing Willow tree. When she saw children crying outside. She asked what was wrong and they said a dog was chasing them and they got frightened. So Mr VIctor went outside and said “ it’s ok the dog is gone the dog was a police dog it won’t hurt you.”
So then the children played with the dog and wasn’t frightened of it anymore. Mr Victor saved the day!











Room 7 did some narrative writing with Mr Victor here is the story i wrote.

Five Week Fitness Challenge.

This term the middles are doing a fitness programme. Today I did fifteen push ups and my goal in five weeks is to do 35. I also did 36 Bur pees and my goal in five weeks is 46. The wall sit was very hard but we all tried our best. I sat on my invisible chair for 1:50 my goal is to sit on it for 3:30.

The Solar System

The solar system is made of stars and planets. The sun is the biggest star but maybe it’s not though. Did you know that Earth is the only planet with people on it. All the other planets don’t have people,oxygen or gravity.Saturn has a ring around it and on the ring there are rocks and dust orbiting around the planet Saturn like the other planets orbiting the sun. Mercury is the hottest planet but not hotter than the sun.Venus is the second hottest planet. Earth is a planet of light and life. We give plants carbon dioxcide and plants give us oxygen. No one would survive if anyone got close enough to touch the sun. The earth is blue and green because of the sea and sky and the grass and plants. If we didn’t have water or plants we would die. There are lot’s of rocks and dust and mountains on the other planets except Earth.

Trip Thank You Card

Room 7,11 and 12 went to the Maritime Museum and we were all in groups. Each group had a parent looking after them or a teacher. I was with Jayde's mum Mrs.Ellison. So now Room 7 is making thank you cards for the parents that came and looked after us while we were at the trip  to the trip with us.

Going On A Ferry At Maritime Museum.

On  Tuesday the 29th of August Room 7,11,12 went on a ferry and went to the Maritime Museum.

When we got on the ferry Shemeel the man who was taking care of us in the museum said ‘’Sit down for 5 minutes and then we could explore the rest of the ferry later.’’ When me and my group went to the top of the ferry it was very hot. And when the boat turned we went to the side it turned. The first time it happened we didn’t know it was going to happen.

Lily, Jayde, Maletina, Ocean and I asked Jayde’s mum if we could go on the top of the ferry and she said ‘’Yes.’’ We were super excited and when we got to the top it was scary at first then it wasn’t anymore. When the person who was driving said ‘’Hold on everyone we are going full speed.’’ We all held on after a while but at first me an Vaiola didn’t. It was super fast and whenever we talked lots and lots of air got into ours mouths SUPER fast. But when we got closer to the Harbour Bridge we slowed down after the LONG but very exciting time on a ferry i got SUPER TIRED.

My Dream.
